Victoria & Richard Emprise was created by the artists, Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs. This intimitable couple tickled the turn of the 20th century upside down. Then tumbled into today with leaps and bounties of inventions and intentions to rattle the shackles of protocol with a wry wink to the world. The designs of Victoria and Richard fetch the fancy and unfeigned wisdom within us each and shower them with crisp inspiration to conquer the callous. Their collections are full of exuberant and funky designs in dinnerware, stemware, tabletop accessories including lamps and vases.

Shira Entis, a fashion designer and lover of all things tiny and over-sized, and Alex Bell, a lawyer and seeker of adventures, have been fleamarket addicts since they met ten years ago at Brown University. Frustrated by the inconvenience and environmental hazard of accumulating several plastic bags while marketing, they craved a convenient and fashion-hot tote that could fit all of their wares. Fleabags are designed as their ideal solution – dapper, large, lightweight and sturdy carry-alls – that are also eco-minded. Thus the brand Fleabags began in 2009 while both still worked their day jobs in New York City.
THEY ARE ECO FRIENDLY
An important part of the Fleabags venture was to create a bag that was as Green as possible while maintaining high quality and covetable design. Thus much research was put into the types of canvas, leather and parts available in the United States that would fit their eco-friendly standards. Fleabags are wholly sourced in the US and made in New York of certified organic cotton / hemp canvas, vegetable-tanned leather and water-based silkscreen ink. Fleabags use no glues or toxic paints, just good old fashion sewing.

Transforming and Modifying objects into new aesthetic purposes. 3 Main Collection Concepts: T-Shirts, Versatile Dresses and the Safety Pinned Line T-Shirt collection is based on vintage objects, the designs and placements are strategized to compliment and accentuate the body.
The Versatile dress collection gives the little black dress concept a new name, and let’s women re-invent themselves and is their chameleon staple. Safety Pin collection changes the purpose of “an object”- they choose ubiquitous pins and utilitize it as an ornamental graphic statement, not just a functional piece.

After working in the high-end fashion design world in NYC for the past 8 years, for companies such as Calvin Klein, Shelly Steffee, and Vera Wang, Gail has launched her own brand free from mainstream trends. Each piece she designs has the ability to link, layer, fold, snap, shift and/or connect. Her collection is inspired by her surroundings, personal interactions and movement, and architecture and sculpture.

The Roger Smith Hotel recently hosted photo shoot with Lolli Popit Inc. in the hotels Solarium.
Lolli Popitt Inc was born in 2009 by Aurora and Amande Elle. They incorporate vintage wear (clothing from the 20s- 80s) and transform them with modern trends. Aurora and Amanda drawn in inspiration from porcelain dolls and fables- so women who wear their creations can re-live the fairy tale. She worked in the couture studio of Jacques Esterel when she was 16, and now she is producing her own collections. Last season her runway looks were a huge success and garnered a lot of attention, including that of megastar Beyonce. Her designs are sensual and seductive. She uses sexy fabrics like Silk jersey, Lace (from France), Lycra, and Velvet; her clothes feel like a second skin. Its clear that Dolita Paris is on the path to becoming a signature brand!
