Marc has himself lived in Berlin for a year, so he knew a lot of activities and good places to go to.

Words of Ek Wongleecharoen:

Marc and I attended the Cornell-Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne Reception at Hotel Adlon where we met with Tom Kline, Director of Executive Education at the Cornell School.

I also met with Paolo Rosso and Sara Cipolini from Plan Hotel. They graciously invited me to dinner with their Plan Hotel team.   Later on in the evening, Paolo invited me along with his team to the Kuoni Travel ITB party.  ITB would not have been as successful for the Roger Smith Hotel without the help of Paolo and Plan Hotel.

This time, I got back from FITUR in Madrid, where I joined members of the Cornell General Managers Program from the class of 2004, 2008, and 2009.  It was wonderful to be able to reach out to the other members of Cornell GMP.  There is nothing better than extending our circle.  When people get together once in a while, good always happens.

We are here to share our experiences, our thoughts, and our friendship.  Sky is the limit.  If any of you are coming to New York City, please come and say hello to me at the Roger Smith Hotel.  My door is always open and I will always have time for my friends.

I just got back from the World Travel Market in London, where I joined my fellow classmates from the Cornell General Managers Program from 2008. We had a great dinner at Paul’s hotel, the Crown Plaza and it was great to reconnect with the group.  We missed the rest of the class who could not join us and wish they could have been there.  I look forward to connecting with all in the group soon, maybe next time it will be at the Roger Smith Hotel : )  Enjoy the pictures and video! – EK
