Solitaire Blitz has arrived at the Corner at The Roger Smith Hotel!. During June 26th and 27th, we will have the pleasure to watch the marathon between two people playing Solitaire Blitz, hoping to generate at least $90,000 for the leading water non-profit organization, charity water.
The marathon, aims to break the Guinness World Record for “Longest Videogames Marathon playing a Card Game”. If one or both participants succeed in playing 24 or more consecutive hours of PopCap’s latest hit social game, Solitaire Blitz from PopCap, a division of EA…the record will be set.
About the players:
Kathleen Henkel, a 68-year old grandmother from Oakland, New Jersey will conduct her record-setting in our gallery focused on performance in the Corner at The Roger Smith Hotel in mid-town Manhattan.
At the same time, Laura Rich, of Cardiff, Wales, will begin her attempt at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium, located on the River Thames.
We invite to support the Marathon; you can head over to the game’s Facebook page and participate for a good cause.
We are waiting for you!
