John, I like your style of writing. Its funny, ironic and engaging. Probably due to the fact that last weeks tech tuesday was about broadcasting you left out LIVE. No worries. I will make sure you don't forget it in 2010.
Just to remind you of our international broadcasting moment in sweden, I believe that this technological boom will level out globally within the year.

We have two of the Zi8, I think they are great cam, but very unreliable. I've upgraded the firmware several time. Maybe we got lemons…I've never had a problem with the Flip Ultra HD though.

I have to call you out on not mentioning the Kodak Zi8… It kills the flip in most categories. It also HAS a mic jack and image stabilization as well as a headphone jack (which doubles as an RCA jack)
